“I had difficulty using the prior overbed table as it was not functional. It was heavy, difficult to move, small and could only be used on the incorrect side of the bed. These issues made it difficult and unsafe for me to move on my own.

TADQ customised and supplied an overbed table that is easy and safe to use. It was modified to be on the correct side of the bed so I could safely get in and out on my own. The overbed table is light, good quality, adjustable, easy to clean and has made a massive difference to my daily living.

I now feel confident and capable that I can easily move the overbed table on my own. The table also has a longer tray so that I can safely have my meals and there is still plenty of room to keep any essential items required. This has led me to being able to get in and out of bed easier, having more independence and confidence.

This ensures easy access to the tabletop without requiring her to reposition herself, supporting greater comfort and reducing reliance on assistance for daily tasks.

To enhance usability and safety, the table includes custom-positioned guards as requested, helping to prevent items from sliding or falling off during use. In addition, a subtle lip has been incorporated around the edge of the surface. This feature has been carefully designed to help contain plates, utensils, and personal items while still allowing easy access to the tabletop for eating, reading, or other activities.
