Caron’s Journey to Easier Travel

For Caron, travelling with a support worker often meant juggling multiple pieces of equipment, luggage, and mobility aids. While her powered wheelchair met her mobility needs, transporting suitcases alongside a manual wheelchair and disability equipment could be challenging and stressful. To help make travel easier, Caron approached TADQ with an idea: a lightweight trailer that could attach to the back of her powered wheelchair, carry luggage, and fold away for easy transport.

A Custom Travel Solution

Working closely with Caron, our team designed and built a custom folding trailer tailored to her needs. Lightweight and easy to manage, the trailer attaches securely to her powered wheelchair, carries luggage and travel essentials, and folds down to fit into a bag for convenient storage and transport.

The Outcome

Caron recently used the trailer on holiday and found it made a significant difference to her travel experience. The custom trailer helped reduce the physical challenges associated with transporting luggage, allowing Caron and her support worker to travel more efficiently and with greater confidence.
