Custom Forearm Walker

The Custom Forearm Walker was a specially designed mobility aid created to support a client of very small stature, measuring under one metre tall. Developed to meet the client’s unique physical requirements, this walker provides safe, stable, and comfortable support for everyday mobility.

Due to the client’s height, a standard forearm walker was not suitable. This custom design features a scaled frame and carefully adjusted proportions to ensure optimal positioning and ease of use. The height of the walker, handle placement, and overall dimensions were tailored specifically to allow the client to move confidently and independently.

The customised placement of the forearm gutters were positioned to match the client’s natural arm alignment, the gutters provide improved weight distribution, increased stability, and reduced strain on the upper limbs. This ensures a more ergonomic and supportive walking posture, which is essential for both comfort and long-term use.
