Merida focuses on quality and durability, making their bikes a great option for adding additional support for riders. These bikes are available in 12”, 16”, 20” and 24”.
Freedom Wheels bikes are custom assembled to the individual rider’s specific needs using some or all the following supports:
- Outriggers for stability. Wider and stronger than training wheels, they don’t tip or lean, providing a smoother, quieter ride
- Ankle leg supports to provide lower limb stability
- Custom handlebars to give the rider the best posture and easy steering
- Hand mitts to grip your handlebar
- A towbar for you to pull the bike
- Rear steer
- Pelvic belts to increase stability and confidence
- Hip and thoracic fins for pelvic and trunk stability
- Foot cups and toe clips to keep the rider’s feet on the pedals
- All supports can be easily removed, and the bike frame can be transported on a normal bike rack at the back or roof of a car
