Home Modifications

Many times, having modifications to your home and surroundings can mean the difference between living independently or assisted living.  We often cope with our environment without realising that modifications around the home can make such a difference.

The modifications and pieces of equipment TADQ can assist with often support people to live safely and independently allowing easier movement.

What modifications and items do we provide?

With the support of our professional team, the TAD Assist program we can provide many modifications such as:

• Wall mounted grab rails
• Small threshold ramps
• access steps
• chair platform raisers and bed blocks
• non-slip treatment in bathrooms
• drop down rails / pool rails
• external secured fabricated rails
• large external ramps
• kitchen and bathroom modifications

How can you book our services?

Many of our referrals come via the My Aged Care portal.   If you are a registered participant, call My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 or via their website and ask for TADQ to provide your services.  They will then co-ordinate an assessment and provide us with a referral number.

What is the cost?

The cost depends on your requirements.  All work is provided by a qualified builder and is be provided quickly but will be based on a fee for service.  No work will commence until the quote has been approved and unfortunately we are unable to provide funding for any works carried out.
